Toothache? Let’s talk home remodeling.

Comprehensive Dentistry - The Solid Foundation of Great Smiles

Toothaches may seem to have little to do with house remodeling.  But, home remodeling is a surprisingly interesting comparison to comprehensive dentistry.

When patients come to us for toothache relief, we will quickly get them out of pain.  For many, this may seem to be the end of the journey, ‘no more pain’.  However, since we’re not just a ‘toothache practice’, Dr. Reece and Dr. Jouett know the foundation of the cause of your toothache pain is what needs to be treated or it will return.

This is where the house remodeling analogy comes into play.  If you met with a contractor about remodeling a kitchen, they would first want to know if the house foundation is structurally sound, if the walls were hiding termites, if the electrical system had enough amperage, or if you had long range plans to eliminate some walls or add a second story above the kitchen.  In short, a good remodeler wants to know the overall condition of your home and your long range dreams before they agree to do any work.  They know everything in your home is connected and short term fixes that gloss over structural problems and future plans will not last.

This is the same philosophy that Dr. Reece and Dr. Jouett have at Radiant Exceptional Dentistry.  Once we have gotten you out of pain, we need to do a thorough dental evaluation and questioning to ensure we can deliver the best possible end result for not only today but the future of your dental health and smile.  To learn more about comprehensive dentistry and the role it plays in your long term dental health please contact us.  We can create your dream smile together.
