DENTISTS GATHER FROM AROUND THE WORLD TO LEARN ABOUT DR. REECE'S LATEST INNOVATION - NEW YOU DENTURES.

Dr. Reece spent the last few days at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute teaching a group of the world's leading dentists how to construct his latest innovation New You Dentures.
New You Dentures eliminate the problem of the 'sunken-in look' that has plagued conventional denture wearers.
Dr. Reece came up with a proprietary technique to construct these innovative new dentures that help return the original proportions to a denture wearer's face and give them a more youthful, natural and healthy look previously unavailable through conventional dentures.
Dr. Reece said, "It was a joy to be with such talented dentists from all across America and the world who share the same passion I do for helping patients have the most productive, attractive and confidence building smiles possible.  I think New You Dentures is going to be a big hit with patients".

Valentine's in Vegas

I go to Las Vegas 8-10 times every year.  I am on the faculty of the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and go out to Las Vegas to teach other dentists to perform complex treatments.  Also, there are a lot of dental meetings in Las Vegas.  I just returned from an implant meeting at the Bellagio, and because it was Valentine season, my wife, Sharon went with me.  She usually only makes 1-2 trips per year and this seemed like a good trip to make. People always think about the casinos in Las Vegas, but 20 of the 24 largest hotels in the world are within 2 miles of each other, up and down the strip in Las Vegas.  Each of these giant hotels house many fabulous restaurants.  Sharon and I are not big gamblers, but we do love to visit these great restaurants.

On this trip, we had the pleasure of eating at 3 fabulous places.  The first was Alize at the top of the Palms Hotel.  Alize is consistently rated as one of the best restaurants in North America and the view was stunning from the 56th floor.

Another great restaurant that we sampled was Japonais at the Mirage.  http://mirage.com/restaurants/japonais.aspx  This restaurant started in Chicago and New York and now has gone west.  Japonais, where "Modern Day Japan meets European Elegance" was just fabulous.

We feel like we saved the best for last when we entered Sensi at the Bellagio. http://www.bellagio.com/restaurants/sensi.aspxThis restaurant has its kitchen in the middle behind glass.  The food was superb and it was very cool to see the chefs working behind the glass.

Sharon and I had a great time in all 3 places and it was a wonderful way to celebrate Valentine's Day.  (Oh, by the way, I also learned a lot about dental implants!!) I want to wish a Happy Valentine's Day to everyone.

IACA in Boston!!

I just returned from Boston last week where I attended the annual meeting of the International Association of Comprehensive Aesthetics.  The annual IACA Conference offers a variety of different lectures and hands-on workshops that are presented by world renowned professionals in their respective fields.  There were attendees from all over the United States, Canada, and Australia.  Conference attendees develop comprehensive aesthetic treatment skills, network with a wide variety of health care professionals and are introduced to proven practice management techniques, all of which lead to the common goal of building a successful comprehensive aesthetic approach. photoThe Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies (LVI) partners with the IACA for their instuctor workday.  photo1I am very proud to be a clinical instructor for LVI for the last 6 years.  As a 'Thank You" to the instructors, we were treated to a private tour and dinner of the JKF Presidential Library.DSC_0007 I was also very proud and humbled to receive the the 2010 LVI Mentor of the Year award.  This was a total surprise to me as all awards are not release until the annual meeting.  This was a great meeting where I learned a lot, and enjoyed the company of many of my colleagues.  I am already looking forward to next year's meeting in San Diego.
