Dr. Reece is an accredited member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), the industry’s leading institution for cosmetic dentistry. Accreditation requires many hours of advanced education and documented casework that is reviewed by a board of peers. He has completed continuing education courses and serves as an advanced education instructor at The Las Vegas Institute (LVI), a renowned postgraduate dental education institution.

As a sedation dentist, Dr. Reece studied with the Dental Organization of Conscious Sedation (DOCS), an international organization of general and cosmetic dentists dedicated to benefiting both practitioners and patients through sedation dentistry, and is a member of the organization.
Dr. Reece received his Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists in 2007. Texas Monthly Magazine named Dr. Michael K. Reece a "Texas Super Dentist" in the category of cosmetic dentistry for three years in a row! Winners were determined from a Texas Monthly survey of more than 10,000 Texas dentists and dental laboratory managers, asking, "If you or a loved on needed dental care, which dentist would you choose?"
