Aggieland on Maroon Alert as Texas A&M Women's Basketball Team play for the National Championship

The spirit is thriving in Aggieland as everyone prepares for the Aggies to face Notre Dame in the National Championship game of women's basketball tonight in Indianapolis.  It is the first time for the Texas A&M women's basketball team to make it to the National Championship and everyone is on maroon alert. The whole community has wore maroon today to support the Aggies in their game since most can not be there in person tonight.  It is amazing to see a community come together for such an thrilling event.  Everyone whether a Texas A&M graduate or not has joined in the spirit as they have made Aggieland their home and feel as if they are a part of the amazing tradition that is Texas A&M University.  Being an Aggie myself, it feels like the National Championship game is here in Aggieland and no one is going to miss it.  Our office is consumed with the Aggie spirit as we all put on our maroon to support the Aggies with a huge grin on our face and a loud gig'em on our hand.

It has been a whirlwind adventure to see the Aggies throughout the season and even now as they take on the National Championship.  We wish them all the best and we are rooting for them tonight as they go up against the Irish.
